Managing Database Drivers
Database drivers can be installed on RapidIdentity Appliance as JAR files, and once these files are installed then the corresponding functionality is available throughout the intended RapidIdentity components.
Follow these 5 to install a database driver:
Navigate to Server Management > Data > Common Libraries.
Click Choose File to upload the corresponding JAR file.
Navigate to the Clusters tab, click the blue curved arrow to restart Tomcat, and click OK in the dialog box that appears.
A processing window will appear. When Tomcat is finished restarting, the Clusters tab will be shown. The JAR file is uploaded and the corresponding database driver is ready for use.
Install the MySQL Driver
RapidIdentity supports MySQL as a database and the MySQL driver can be installed after the initial RapidIdentity installation process is complete.
Follow these 5 steps to install the MySQL database driver:
Navigate to Appliance > Server Management > Data > Common Libraries.
In the Upload New Library interface, click Download it from here.
Select the operating system that matches the platform on which RapidIdentity is installed and then download the file from MySQL.
Return to RapidIdentity Appliance, upload the JAR file, and click Start Upload.
Navigate to the Clusters tab, click the blue curved arrow to restart Tomcat, and click OK in the dialog box that appears.
