Navigation and Screen Readers
RapidIdentity allows users to navigate the system with their keyboards and audibly reads each page elements to the user.
Table 8. Keybindings
Keybindings | Functions |

Tab | The tab key directs the keyboard focus through elements in the forward direction, left to right top to bottom. |
Shift-Tab | The shift-tab combination reverses the keyboard focus direction to the most recent element. |
Enter or Space | The enter or space key can toggle check boxes and select radio buttons. These two keys can also open drop-down menus and pop-up windows. |
Arrow Keys | The arrow keys are used to navigate drop-down menus and tables. |
Esc | The escape key can close drop-down menus and pop-up windows. |
