RapidIdentity Product Guides - 2019 Rolling Release

Pictograph

Pictograph as a RapidIdentity authentication method is best for contingent users (e.g. interns, contractors) and other low-risk users (e.g. guests, young students) relative to the global organizational user population.

Users are required to identify pictures and administrators can select use either the default image pool or a custom image pool.

Follow these steps to configure Pictograph as an authentication policy method.

  1. Define and enable an authentication policy and enable pictograph as an authentication method. Configure any necessary authentication criteria.

  3. Define the number of images users must select and the total number of images presented to the user.

  4. Prioritize the authentication methods and click Save.

An example of the user pictograph authentication is shown below.

Pictograph Authentication

To authenticate with Pictograph, users are first required to select their image(s) based on the authentication policy configuration. In the example policy shown below, users are required to select three images to authenticate to RapidIdentity.
