Tasks

The My Tasks tab displays all current requests requiring action based on the approval process for that entitlement.

If the user is configured to approve an entitlement, the entitlement request will display.

Requests can be filtered by resource, recipient, approver, and originator, by entering the appropriate designator into the search bar. The search bar is dynamic.

There are three possible entitlement request actions: Approve/Complete, Deny, and Re-assign.

Description

Approve/Complete

The Approve/Complete button will approve the selected requests immediately. Requests are selected via the check box in the far left column of the tasks pane and it is possible to approve multiple requests simultaneously.

Deny

The Deny button will reject the selected requests immediately. Requests are selected via the check box in the far left column of the tasks pane and it is possible to deny multiple requests simultaneously.

Re-Assign

The Re-Assign button allows resource owners to assign access requests to another user. When selected, a dialogue box will appear. If necessary, use the search field find the desired recipient and the click Select to confirm or Cancel to discard.



When two or more entitlement requests are present, it is necessary to select the request to view its details.

When only one entitlement request is present it is possible to approve, deny, or re-assign the request without selecting the request within the grid interface if the details pane is open.

If the decision is to approve or deny the request, the user making this decision can optionally provide comments or feedback relating to their decision.

If the decision is made to re-assign the entitlement request, the request can be assigned to a specific user or group of users in a predefined role.

Once a user or role is selected, clicking Select will remove the entitlement request from the original approver's My Tasks tab.
